My 27 year old daughter is looking to join a virual quilting bee too. She is a new quilter also but learns a lot faster than her mom. Does anyone know of any bees that have openings or how she can find out about virtul qulting bees? Thanks.

There were a couple of women like your daughter who are interested in joining bees on the block party discussion page.......I have emailed the link to you.
ReplyDeleteMost bee chatter started happening toward the end of the year for the following year.....keep your ears open starting in the Oct/Nov/Dec time frame for the following year.
I'm sure she could get something started in the meantime, though.......maybe a swap, etc.

ReplyDeleteFor personal and some chronic healh problems I am going to have to pull out of the blog. I'm trying to start up an etsy site and work full time and since I'm new at quilting it's just too much for me right now. As you can see in my comment before, my daugher has been looking for bees and flickr sites to join so if no one has any objections she's going to take my place in this blog. She will finish the February blocks and take my place for May. I would have really liked to get to know all of you but she'll be a great addition. She can quilt and knit all day long and she's so fast! Her name is Ruth Levenkron so can you substitute her name for mine. I'm lucky I'll get to keep up with the blog through her.
